Abstract
The thoracic portion of the spinal cord is susceptible to compression by ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL). Unlike OPLL in the cervical spine, thoracic myelopathy due to OPLL may be misdiagnosed or treated inappropriately. We describe our successful experience with a case of OPLL in thoracic spine in treatment with anterior thoracic decompression.
